My Journey to Christendom

I have been listening to TBC years ago back when I was living in Jamaica, since then I have been hooked to the station. I have traveled to Canada and now the USA spreading the gospel and still my wife and I [listen] to your live stream online. Since then I have been inspired to write poetry because of the peace on mind it gives me from listening to God's words and other testimonies. This is an example of a poem I recently wrote and would love to share:
My journey to Christendom
I am trying to be (Christ like ) LIVE like, talk like a Christian, but I am not fully there yet, many pretend like, act like, pray like, talk like, when they are Noting like what we should be like (Christ like/Christian).
My life in Christ is like a fruit tree that is firmly rooted in the soil of wisdom and overflowing with the water of understanding, but only by the grace of God.
Whenever sin or the problems of this world is abound, shaking my [limbs] until my leaves fall to the ground, when the trouble of this world is all around I hold tight to my God that I have found.
To the untrained eyes I have met my demise, I should cut all ties for I am unwise.
But I Know that my God is not fake and I am sure I have not made a mistake for my falling leaves will soon germinate, no doubt I will be standing at heaven’s gate as long as I keep hope up and never let go of my faith….
I want to say thanks to TBC for inspiring me.
